Discover the most beautiful nature of Bali in this tour! The beauty of the terraced rice fields which belong to the World Heritage Sites and her magnificent water temples will take your breath away. Observe the change of vegetation from the coastal villages with ubiquitous coconut groves and paddy fields to the mountain gardens where pine trees, wild orchids and giant ferns flourish!
At first we take you to the Tanah Lot Sea Temple built on a huge rock surrounded by the sea water on high tides. This is Bali’s most famous attraction but we will visit her in the serene atmosphere in the morning; then we proceed to the Mengwi Royal Family Temple of Taman Ayun, Bali’s second largest temple with an area of 4 hectares, dated from 1634 AD with lovely moat around. We take a break at tropical spices plantations to see tropical plants of cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, pepper, vanilla, snake skinned fruit, the bad smelt durian etc. There is also the opportunity to try the famous Kopi Luwak or the pea berry coffee, supposed to be the best coffee in the world! Indonesian food lunch will be served in Pacung with fabulous rice terraces view. The terraced rice fields of Jatiluwih (means really marvelous) which belong to the World Heritage Sites is our next stop before going to the Bedugul, the area around lake Beratan which is a mountain country with cool crisp air and flowers everywhere. At the shore of Lake Beratan, we stop to visit the magnificent Ulun Danu Beratan Temple surrounded by the lake water, flower gardens and lofty mountains, before continuing our trip to the nearby fruit, vegetables, and spices market of Candikuning. Then we proceed to the Bali’s Botanical Garden, an oasis of tranquility for the local people to escape the heat of the city where we can walk under the shady trees to see the collection of cacti, orchids and giant ferns.
